When combined with a control panel/phase converter*, our PC series of Rotary Phase Converter Induction Motors creates a complete phase converter system. These shaftless induction motors transform single-phase power into three-phase power for running various equipment in engineering workshops, such as metalworking and woodworking drill presses, saws, lathes, welders, compressors, and ovens. The size of the system, and hence the HP of the motor, depends on the equipment load. They are used where it would typically be difficult or expensive to supply three-phase power.
